Lovely rural location. Great pub. Comfortable bed
This is no reflection on the staff who are great and were very hospitable during our stay. However following our night’s stay when we arrived for breakfast we were ushered over to the far side of the pub because we had a dog. The table wasn’t laid for breakfast so we had to hunt around for cutlery and then we had quite a way to go to the buffet breakfast area. Whilst I quite understand that some guests may not want dogs in the breakfast room which is fine we could have been sat on a table just outside the main breakfast area where the tables were laid ready for breakfast/dining and we were in sight of the buffet breakfast table.

Breakfast was great, all cooked to order and plenty of coffee.
Accommodation was tired, needed a good scrub in places and the windows needed deweeding so you could get some fresh air.
