Hotel Dos Templarios

This is a favourite hotel in a lovely town. We don't usually stay in large hotels but this one works very well and standards are very high in all areas. Reception staff are particularly friendly and helpful. The breakfsst choice is enormous and staff are very fast at clearing dishes and tables.

A minor niggle, if you book through Booking.com there is a daily parking charge of 5 euros. We have never had dinner at the hotel, the menu looks pricey and Tomar is full of good value rearaurants.

This was a beautiful hotel with lots of amenities. We loved the location. We were able to explore the cute town and could easily walk or Bolt to the castle. Our room was huge and had a fabulous view of the pool and river. The staff was friendly and helped guide us to restaurants and sites. We were definitely impressed with the atmosphere. Parking was also very easy as we had a rental car. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends.

Good overall but it is old. They make and effort and the rooms are large. Delta coffee pods in the room. Breakfast is basic.

It is old and needs a revamp, old carpets etc.
