The staff were pleasant and the breakfast and menu was really nice. The bed was comfortable apart from the squeaking

The room was dated with paint chipped off doors and it was deceptively small. Some concerning stains were visable on the wall 'art' and ceiling. You didn't really feel that anything in the room apart from the bedding and towels was very clean. The pictures on the app did not really show how cramped the rooms were and I do feel that it was an expensive room for such a small space.

24 hour reception, friendly staff who had all the info I needed, nice big lobby, breakfast tables and reception area, reliable room access key, clean room, enough room to move around the bed, coffee tea and milk provided, good housekeeping standard, very reasonable price, easy 10 minute walk to the bus station and train station, five minutes walk to get into town. TIP - choose a room at the front of the hotel that gives a view over the tram bridge - better than the brick wall that you see from rooms at the back of the hotel.

I think there is a smell problem from the main drains - on the last morning I could smell bleach in the bathroom sink.

The view was a brick wall. Very early in the morning, service vehicles are very loud when reversing. Carpet a little dirty Corridor can get noisy when people go up and down and talk while entering into their rooms
