Hotel Adele am Alex

Nice hotel, good location and very comfy room. I liked the self check-in and check-out.

Timing of the check-in and check-out is a little bit too much, I'm not sure if this is common in Berlin, but being unable to check in before 15 STRICTLY (I guess it's mostly because of the automatic check-in, where the system just doesn't allow you to get the key before 15:00) is not very pleasant. The room obviously was ready, when I arrived at 14:45. It would be better if the system would allow you to get the key within at least 30 minutes around your check-in time OR arrange a place for guests to wait. Staying on the street for 15-20 mins on windy or rainy day could ruin your day.

The location is very nice, walking distance from many bars and restaurants and from the metro and bus stops. The room was very silent, with a comfy big bed, providing excellent sleep at night. It was very clean everywhere. There is a small kitchenette, so in case you stay longer it could come handy. The checkin process is smooth and clear.

I was in apartment 15, with 3 double beds in 2 rooms. The pictures are not very clear. The apartment is much bigger than in pictures, and more beautiful, but there are no walls between the rooms. Depending who you are travelling with this could be an issue or not.

Great location, clean rooms and bath, secured check-in process. Greatish for 2 person vacation.

We stayed with baby and apartment and room not a family type.

The bed was ok, the showers too! Location was GREAT, fairly close to Alexander Platz, shops, restaurants, bakeries etc. I got clean towels everyday.

The building was kind of sketchy, “schmudelig” , a little weird! That was my first time in a “lobby-free-hotel”! On my floor, the smell of “berries-like” air freshener was very penetrating, cheap, not pleasant. My cups+mugs were NEVER washed! The shower itself was good, but very often clogged! Almost every day in the very early morning , I guess the trash bins were collected from the inside patio, and that was laud, woke me up every time!! For the price, I would expect more than what was offered!
