It is walking distance from Taormina Giardini train station (but no footpath!) Great pool.

It’s not easy to get to and from Taormina. There is a rough path up the cliff face but I wouldn’t recommend it. Interbus goes up there from the main coast road. A taxi back from Taormina costs €25!!!

Uncomfortable bad

Really good location if you want it just outside of the main streets of Taormina. Stunning views overlooking the sea, if you pay for the sea view. Staff were so friendly and helpful, recommended us things to do in the day. Bus stop right outside the hotel, which for €2pp gets you into Taormina. The journey itself is stunning, as you overlook Isola Bella. Nice quiet pool area to relax and switch off. Lovely bar area too for evening drinks. Balcony in the evening was amazing, overlooking the sea.

More on the expensive side, but that’s mainly due to the town it is located in. I certainly wouldn’t say that was a negative and to be fair, it was good value for money overall.

The room we had had an amazing sea view and a little terrace.

We requested some wine glasses so we could enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the ocean. We were offered dirty plastic glasses. I declined these and we were provided very “thick” and clunky wine glasses. I was told it was dangerous to have glass in the room. The location on is at the bottom of the hill near the train station. You can catch a bus up the hill but you are outside of the main centre. Buses are efficient but won’t stop if they are full. It’s a hard, hour, walk up the hill which the staff didn’t recommend.
