Hotel San Marco Fitness Pool & Spa

I don’t like that fact that I have to pay in order to have access to sauna , steam or inside swimming pool .

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Communal areas beautifully decorated and clean. Restaurant had a good choice for breakfast, wasn't open for evening meal. Our room was okay, suited what we needed and was clean. Bit of a mismatch of furniture and very plain, could have done with a paint and update. Bathroom was very nice with a double shower but the shower wasn't actually very big. It suited what we needed but certainly not any luxury.

Nothing we didn't like, just a few things that would improve things, a few more comfy chairs near the bar area and the restaurant open for evening meal.

The reception staff I encountered were very helpful, in particular Sophia and her colleague (I’m sorry I don’t know her name)

Following the shower, whilst my feet were still wet, the bathroom floor in front of the hand basin was very slippery and I slipped and fell. The fall caused my leg to bleed in two places, but fortunately I had the necessary medical equipment to resolve the problem within a reasonable amount of time. I reported the fall the following morning and an anti-slip mat was delivered to my room that day.

Nothing really. It’s hard to say anything specifically positive about the hotel. We have stayed in 19 different hotels across 14 countries on this road trip and this hotel was disappointing for 200 euros a night. The room was a good size and clean but very old fashioned and dated in a cheap way. The bathroom was designed by someone who clearly doesn’t spend much time staying in hotels. The whole hotel had a tried 70’s feel to it with A4 signs sellotaped everywhere . Breakfast was more like a canteen bun fight as the hotel was hosting a group of two large busses. The staff were nice and friendly and the hotel had its own very badly signed parking. The hotel isn’t in the centre but only a 10 or 12 minute taxi ride away.
