H10 Salou Princess

All in all a good 4 star hotel with all amenties and facilities you need. Location is great, it's close to the beach, shops, restaurants etc. Short taxi ride from Reus airport (between 30-35 euros). We had a room with pool view which was lovely. The rooms are a bit small in size, but it has all you need and it's also kept clean by the housekeeping staff. Staff are great, they are all happy to help and want to make sure you have a good stay. Breakfast buffet is good, a lot of options! There's a small gym available for a workout. Swimming pool area is nice to hang around, the vibe is good (the water is cold though so keep that in mind) In the evening the entertainment team organises several events, and they did it all with a lot of enthusiasm! Part of the entertainment is also the daily towel walk at 9AM, where people claim their sunbeds for the day ;)

The hotel is a bit outdated and the rooms are in need of some renovation and general maintenance. It is noisy, you can hear the guests in the rooms next to you and hear people in the corridor. If you need even more noise, the buffet is the place to go. It is a giant room with bad acoustics so it is incredibly noisy during breakfast/lunch/dinner, quite overwhelming. Breakfast and the salad bars during lunch/dinner are great, the rest of the food is either hit or miss. You have the possibility to swap dinner for lunch and we did that several times. Not a negative but good to know: when we arrived we were one of the only younger couples, the average age of guests is quite high. Towards the end of our stay we had some more families and younger couples arrive. Maybe that balance is better during peak summer holidays.

Location spot on ,the staff very friendly and helpful from the minute we walked in the guy on reception couldn’t have done more very friendly,hotel is very clean our room was spotless we asked for a pool view not gaurenteed but was given one great service, went bed and breakfast and the choice was more than enough
