Lovely hotel. Clean and fresh inside. Beautifully decorated.

Lovely location - spacious deluxe room, very comfortable (view to rear car park not so great though)- grew to have tea and coffee, water and fridge. Bathroom excellent.

WiFi did not work at all - I battled with it for the first day - a lady came to my room to fix it but 5 mins later a it kicked me out again - just could not get access from the room (110). No do not disturb signs for door so I was disturbed - markedly - by staff when sleeping

Fabulous central location, old coaching Inn so lots of history, we were able to park in what I presume were the old stables back in the day. We had a lovely meal on our second night and the staff in the restaurant were lovely and very switched on! Congratulations!

It’s a bit tired looking, also the reception should warn you about the master bedroom switch which basically turns everything off so when you get up in the middle of the night for a bathroom break…. No lights, I improvised with my I phone torch, but we heard other guests saying exactly the same thing that they had no lights all night!! Also we are retired so someone wanting to clean our room at 10am was not what we were expecting… Tried to leave the ‘you can service the room now sign on the door’ but that didn’t happen.
