Nothing could have been better.

The location was very good. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful when I asked about local venues or directions to sites or goods, such as an emergency umbrella.

The beds were firmer than I am used to. The room lacked AC, which wasn't a problem in early October, but I wouldn't book a room without it in the summer months.

Lovely traditional hotel in fabulous location. Very quiet with virtually no road noise. Our room had views across to the park. Just a couple of minutes walk from a wide range of shops, bars and cafes. Our room was clean and comfortable and a decent size for the budget.

The pillows were a bit hard!

The hotel's location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean and of good quality, making for a pleasant night's sleep.

The room was quite small, and while the shower was inside the room, the toilet and sink were located in a separate room across the hallway, requiring me to leave the room every time I needed to use the toilet or wash my hands. One of the room's walls was adjacent to what appeared to be a heat source (possibly a machine room or hot water pipes), making the room uncomfortably warm. Although the air conditioning worked well and was able to cool the room, the unit clearly needed cleaning. In the event of a fire, I do not believe the room would provide adequate safety for guests. The breakfast was very basic and did not justify the price charged by the hotel.
