The lady on reception was wonderful. She couldn't do enough for us. We stayed on a Tuesday, so the restaurant was closed - my husband wasn't feeling well so she ordered takeaway pizzas for us - which were delicious. Our room was very comfortable.
We would have loved to have eaten in the restaurant - next time we will go when it is open.

Lovely rural chateau finished and decorated to a high standard.
Restaurant setting was very welcoming and the staff amazing. Food was definitely fine dining standard and the waiter took time to explain every course
Limited room facilities, only one teabag, no ironing facilities - very minor points that I'm sure would have been easily addressed had we asked

The site is beautiful, and I liked the themed rooms. They’re spacious and luminous during the day. The staff was nice and helpful, except for the receptionist.
The receptionist was extremely rude, and the restaurant service could have been better for a gastronomic restaurant (we weren’t asked about dessert at the beginning of our meals, and then were told we couldn’t order dessert later, the meat wasn’t tender enough…).
Several pillows in the room were dirty.
