It was a great option for last minute needs due to a missing connecting flight. The location is very convenient and close to the airport (just 2 stops) with a shuttle that runs 20 hours a day with 10-15 min frequency. The breakfast was good and rich and all the staff were very helpful. The rooms are big and quiet.
No toothbrush on request from the reception - 1 euro. It is not a matter of 1 euro, but rather a fact for this level of hotel and price. Very expensive, but I think Munich is not cheap and due to the last-minute needs.

Proximity to airport.
The Restaurant menu was really limited and there is virtually nothing else around besides more hotel food. We did find the food at the other hotel to be pretty good and much more to our tastes than what was offered at Novotel.
