Samaria Hotel

Costas met and welcomed us as we arrived and quickly and efficiently took our bags into the lobby. Buna at the reception desk was extremely efficient and helpful. Not only did she clearly explain everything we needed to know about the hotel and our stay, she also told us how to find the old town and recommended three restaurants and they were excellent. Perfect suggestions. The room was very comfortable. The welcome cookies and Masticha was a nice touch. We also appreciated the room safe, the slippers and robes. All nice welcoming touches. The housekeeping staff replaced towels daily and gave us extra if they noticed we used one size towel over another, and they made sure the toiletries were always stocked. It is all those little things that make the stay perfect. Above all, we were so grateful for the king size bed! We also really liked and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I have digestive issues and can only have a limited diet and everything I could eat was there on the buffet - fresh and tasty! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the entire breakfast buffet! Another great feature is the pool. A perfect place to relax at any time of the day, but it was especially nice to have breakfast poolside. The hotel's location is perfect - easy to reach old town as well as convenience stores, a market, and shopping.

I really do not have any complaints. We had a wonderful stay at your hotel.

Mattress not comfortable.

Great central location, within two minutes walk from the old town. Staff were friendly and gave lots of recommendations for our remaining travels. Breakfast was excellent and at a lovely location next to the pool. Roof was comfortable. Hotel offered vallet service for €15/ day for our car which was really handy. There was a pianist playing at the bar in the evening which created a lovely ambience

The pool closed at 7pm so we didn’t get to use it. Breakfast didn’t start until 7am, so we didn’t get that either. The room felt like a cruise ship cabin. Tight quarters and especially the restroom.
