Hôtel-Restaurant Le Calice Du Gevaudan - A75

The staff were very helpful. I arrived a little earlier than i planned after a very long journey. I was able to check-in, shower and have a sleep before dinner in the restaurant. This really helped me so I could make a very early start the following day. The car park was secure which i needed as i was travelling with high value items. The surrounding view was superb

Everything was excellent, location, room, facilities, car parking, restaurant and good value.

Room was a little tired

The location was perfect for our journey south through France. Parking was good.

We had dinner at the Hotel. It was disappointing, we waited a long time for our food to arrive and it wasn't hot enough. We think there was inadequate staffing, and we had the impression that there was disapproval that we had one starter, two main courses and one dessert. Our dessert of the cheeseboard was disappointing, very mild, tasteless choice of cheeses were given. We mentioned this at the time and were given an additional cheese. People who arrived quite a while after us were served their food before us. There was only a very small bar area, which hadn't become much bigger than when we first visited this hotel many years ago. The food at that time was superb. The lack of staff was very evident.
