Forrest Hotel & Apartments

The room had everything we needed. A good bathroom with good shower and fluffy white towels, a kettle, fridge, a tv, electric blankets good for Canberra when it gets colder than Sydney, was well located, the staff were efficient. There were many rooms purpose built for travellers. As a motel, we were able to park the car near the room. They had an ironing board and iron tucked into a thin cupboard. They had a stand to lay your suitcase on. Had Wi fi. Was very convenient and comfortable.

Excellent location , close to shops. Quiet , clean and safe private area. Clean self contained unit, excellent for a quiet getaway. My family, especially my two grandsons enjoyed their stay. I must commend your attention to the smallest detail such as a spare rubbish bag.

The only problem was the television connectivity. Free to air channels should be available straight away, rather than going through log ins.

The room was a little on the small side

Location is good, ample parking but it is a bit unorganised. They are generous with tea and coffee and supply a toaster which is handy. Staff were friendly upon arrival and willing to help.The Hotel is in a quiet area and it's easy to get to Parliament House and attractions from there.

Rooms are very antiquated. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and the matress was hard. They should put a "Matress Topper" on their beds to make them more comfortable. Parking is unorganised and there are no elevators.
