Beds were really comfortable, good sized room. Decor is eclectic and really neat. Also quiet, very little street noise
The shower over the bath was difficult to get right, a small change in how far you pulled out the shower lever resulted in a huge pressure increase that nearly hit the opposite wall. Was difficult to get a balance of decent pressure without water going all over the floor as the the glass partition was quite small. Pressure and temperature were good otherwise though

The location of the hotel was great, very central to lots of good restaurants and bars. Walking distance as well to the waterfront and Te Papa Museum. The room was large and comfortable. The foyer area and communal spaces were also vibey.
The hotel rooms are a little dated. Specifically the bathrooms. However it didn't detract from a very comfortable and pleasant stay. We would still stay here again

This property is close to Cuba Street so it is very handy. Specially if you don’t mind paying a little bit extra or save you on Uber costs.
well, the staff were doing their best, they were clearly understaffed, the people checking in before us had to wait longer because their room wasn’t ready, the staff had inconsistent uniform so it was difficult to know who was staff and who wasn’t.
There were fingerprints on all the lights and light switches. It looked like they had rushed to the clean. The day was looking a little bit tired.
