Lovely hotel full of charm and character. We were looked after well and the turndown service even had provided us with a hot water bottle! The hotel is placed well for as it is a short walk into town or as a base for further exploration. The breakfast was fabulous and we also ordered room service in the evening which was better value than the buffet.

This is a fabulous hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Elegance and old world charm. Breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff very attentive. It was great to relax with a drink by the fireplace - didn't expect that in Sri Lanka.
On one day there was no hot water for a shower during the day

Kitchen was excellent. My wifes allergies were very well attended. The staff is very helpfuel. If you look for a Hotel in the old british colonial style, that is it. We even got a warming bottle in our beds due to the cold climate up there in the mountains.

Friendly staff.
The property looks tired and dated. Rooms are musty and cold. Paid the highest driver accommodation services on our total trip , for a average stay. Taxes service fees not included in the prices. Adds a punch to the final bill. Approach road need upgrading.
