The view and location is nothing short of exceptional! The hotel also offers a free shuttle into town which is a massive value add
We were staying with the hotel whilst getting married in Taormina, despite walking in with my bridal flowers from the wedding and discussing our wedding with numerous staff they made zero effort to make us feel special. This is quite basic for a 5* hotel. We felt quite little deflated by the experience. Feedback is a gift so my husband did let the staff know we were disappointed and they gave us a complimentary bottle of prosecco, but to be honest it was too little too late and by that point.

All staff so lovely! Communication for anything over WhatsApp was SO easy.
No baby change table in toilet near reception when we required it before our room was ready. I know they aren’t aesthetic, but changing our baby on the tiled floor wasn’t 5 star.

Grand hotel San Pietro has one of the best views in Taormina . Loved the breakfast in the gorgeous setting overlooking the sea . The free shuttle makes it very easy to get to Corso Umberto instead of walking . Loved the free minibar always stacked with soft drinks and a variety of nuts and snacks . Staff was very courteous , helpful and willing to please all guests at hotel .
The size of the room considering we paid more than $1,100 per night . However , all amenities in the room and bathroom were great.

Great location with a fantastic view. Pool area was lovely and the gym has the most amazing view .
It is overpriced.
