The common spaces were really nice. That was the part we enjoyed the most in our stay. Also, breakfast was quite alright. Some of the staff members were very pleasant and others not so much
Bathrooms were quite old-fashioned and small and the showers a little bit shabby. The room was OK, maybe too small for 4 people. Also, we had to rent the shower towels which we didn't expect

Staff excellent. Very friendly and helpful and dropped everything to sort out a glitch with our room's electricity supply.
Full English breakfast was not overly hot, but good value and satisfying, with unlimited toast, pastries and coffee etc Ideally located for Duxford airshow.
I shared a four-bed room with my son and grandson. Room was ok for one night, but a bit cramped. We understand why window could only be partially opened, but even with heating switched off the room was vey hot.

This place has good staff, and the rooms are very clean. It's in a good location, and I think it would be great for a group.
There were niggles: you couldn't get a hot shower. The mattresses weren't very comfortable, and it was hot. It was a warm day, but it was difficult to get a breeze through.
