B&B Sweet Sleep

The room was lovely, staff were friendly and the rooftop hot tubs were amazing, really special to watch the sunset from

It was a bit scary to arrive at the building as it didn’t look like a hotel from the outside, once inside it was fine

The room and facilities were perfect for what we needed comfy beds and spotless rooms. Staff were excellent couldn’t be more friendly and helpful and rooftop bar and spa were an excellent additional touch. Would stay here again. Transport links to Amalfi Coast close by to.

B&B Sweet Sleep is a little gem. Hidden behind an old traditional facade Sweet sleep is located on the fourth to sixth floors reached by a small lift. The reception staff were amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. The on-site food available was excellent, from the comprehensive breakfast to the extremely tasty salad and pasta dishes available in the evening. The drinks, hot tubs and service offered on the wonderful roof terrace were a real bonus, which we used every day and provided excellent choice and value for money. Our room was always clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, which was so important. The hotel is very convenient for the main train station, giving us easy access to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento.

Through no fault of the hotel, Naples did not match up to their excellent standards and our expectations. We have visited many of the main cities in Europe and we’re looking forward to visiting the city. On our third day in the city I unfortunately had my phone and cards stolen from my bag, a short distance from the hotel entrance. This made us very wary and uncomfortable when leaving the hotel. Naples is not the cleanest city with high levels of graffiti and litter and the upkeep of the cobbly paths and roads is not great.

The property is close to the historic centre of the city, and the facilities are clean and functional. The roof top terrace is lovely as was the hot tub. The staff were very helpful.

The area outside of the property was very dirty and a lot of litter around. The rooms were very basic, and whilst there was a kettle and cups in the room there was no tea/coffee or milk left. The breakfast standard was poor.
