Very friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast in beautiful surroundings. Comfortable bed.
We chose the standard double but found it small. Wasn’t a problem as we didn’t spend much time in the room. Other members of our party were in larger rooms which looked lovely, so choose one of those if available. Bathroom was functional and clean but could do with some updating.

Excellent breakfast
Gourmet packets of crisps in room , quality teabags.
No bottled water in room, just tap water.
Room very small for what I paid.

The staff
The ambiance
The room was terrible.
Electrical connection to the radiator was exposed next to the toilet.
One ceiling light was pushed into the ceiling.
The shower head would not stay in place.
The shower door did not seal against the bath and therefore the floor ended up covered in water.
A latch on one window was off.
The general decorative standard was very poor .
The room I ad was very small.
