Relais La Torre - Domus Verona

This was a nice apartment in a very old building that used to be a priest rectory I believe. It was unique, but you do have to go through one bedroom to get to the second one, and there was only one full bathroom, which we were not aware of. That was not clearly spelled out, in my opinion, in the advertising. We made it work, but it was a bit difficult. The apartment needs much better, lighting, and especially in the kitchen where there’s no lighting at all on the kitchen counters. For a couple days it works. We love the history of the building and the unique field to it so that was quite nice. The support person was terrific, who even walked us with our luggage to the apartment, which is a bit of a ways from where you have to check in. But that all worked out just fine. The location was first rate and we could walk everywhere with no Taxi, which is always nice. Overall, we do recommend the apartment for a few days as it is so, ideally located, and the history of the building makes it a unique day.

Lighting was not good particularly in the kitchen. Overall, it’s a pretty dark apartment. The other thing is, I had read that there were two full bathrooms not a bathroom and a half which means you have to share a shower, which is not always ideal with another woman. Again, not a dealbreaker just wish it had been clearer. The other thing is, the apartment is right above a small restaurant and at night, people were milling about right underneath our windows and you could hear them very easily until midnight at least daily. We made do, but again I think it should be made clearer.

It was in the center!

Location!!!! Gorgeous, super clean apartment, close to everything! Great security!

The AC wasn’t working

It’s a nice spacious apartment at a great location, it’s not far from everything in the old town.

The air conditioning didn’t work as we expected, it was hot, the apartment couldn’t be cooled down below 26.5C.
