New County Hotel & Serviced Apartments by RoomsBooked

This was a budget hotel which is reflected in the price. The location was great for us as we were going to the cathedral. The staff were very friendly and helped as much as they could.

There isn't any parking but there are a couple of public carparks nearby. The rooms were small but clean and had everything you could need. The bed and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable.

Right in the central of everything

Bath Towels are too small and wear off

Great location, nice and easy. Great value for money.

I've stayed here 4-5 times. It's usually been very nice. The facilities and location are great plus the bed is always comfortable.

Unfortunately, on this occasion, there were no towels in the room except for the small one left in the shower tray for wet feet. On checking out, this was mentioned to reception staff 27/9/26. However, this didn't seem to register with them as a concern! Nor any apology offered. This I'm sure is a 'hospitality training' issue, as well as a 'house-keeping' admin blunder. Unfortunately the missing towels weren't noticed until stepping out of the shower!!
