The staff were excellent, very friendly, very accommodating. The food was also impeccable.
Rooms were very dated and a bit grim. Our room was next to the kitchen extractor fan which was noisy and sometimes a bit smelly. Fan was off by 8.30pm

Our first meal was a steak dinner. Everything was great, the onion rings were amazing! My wife wanted to meet the chef! We had an equally amazing breakfast the next morning and my wife did get to shake the chef's hand! Sasha, the manager, showed us to our room initially, and she was on the scene every time we turned around.
I wish I had stayed longer! I can't wait to return. We will keep up with events in Gloucester so we come back soon!
