Basel Youth Hostel

Central, clean & came with free travel in Basel

Booked a 4 bunk bed as wanted a private room. Would have been good to know this

Clean. Central. Good staff.

A bit expensive for a hostel.

Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce, blisko centrum, mimo to cicho i spokojnie, blisko do rzeki. Dobre jedzenie i pomocny personel.

The youth hostel is located in a nice area close to the city center of Basel. The building is very modern and gives you the feeling of "being at home". Nice corners to read a book or plan further travels, a bar with local beers and ice, terrace for breakfast, play corner for kids, books from all kind of topics to get inspiration, a small stream in front of the door, large trees,.... We stayed in a four bunk beds room with shared bathroom and it all was amazing. We even slept very well and everything was really clean.

I believe the breakfast could be a bit more "mature"... there was not enough bread, would love to have eg eggs. But this is a matter of expectation. In total, the stay was great.
