Hotel Bologna

Family run hotel, the owners really care that you enjoy your stay. It’s unpretentious but the rooms have been recently decorated to a high standard and have used top quality furnishing ( Smeg fridge and kettle for example ) and it has a large shower, comfortable bed with fine bedlinen. The hotel is central to the old town and has gated parking on site, which was important for us. ( If you are arriving by car, you need to access the hotel and it’s car park down a narrow alley, it’s perfectly drivable but at first look you may think it’s not the right place.

The location is perfect. Close to the train station but set back off of the Main Street so it is very quiet. The rooms have been updated with quality fixtures. Perfect set up. Air conditioning was a plus! Anna the hostess is amazing. Always available and very friendly and helpful. This is my 3rd time staying here. First was in 2013 with a gfriend. Same excellent quality of service then and now. Very close to old town and all of the sidewalk cafes and restaurants. Recommend for sure 😉

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like. All was perfect.

Central to the old town

It can feel a bit rough and ready in the area near by. But you can avoid that

Very clean and neat

Google Maps wasn’t helpful in locating it correctly.
