Number Sixteen, Firmdale Hotels

This is a Kit Kemp hotel which means fabulous decor and art throughout. Super comfortable bed! Many rooms are small however so I recommend going up at least one category. There is a lovely garden where breakfast and tea are served if weather permits. The staff is very good overall. There were a few issues in the breakfast room but nothing major. I love the area. It manages to be quiet and peaceful but convenient to an underground station, museums and many restaurants.

Well I waited 40 minutes for breakfast one morning. Service seemed disorganized there. Also rooms are small. My bathroom was tiny: one small sink and two steps down to get to it but it had all the amenities including a bathtub.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming.

This time I got a standard room and it was ridiculously small. I had to edge carefully around the sink to use the toilet. Upgrades are essential!
