Hotel la Vila

Location was right on the square and very convenient. We had the garden view which was nice and quiet as beautiful. The private parking is 10eu/night and about 4min walk from the hotel which was very convenient. It was nice the hotel also has a restaurant for external guests, and we picked up our morning coffee to take to our room every morning which was a big plus for us.

For a 4* hotel I would've expected a bit more personal service. I've felt more 'special' and bonded with the staff in our previous 2* hotel than in this 4* hotel. For example, I came every morning ordering the same coffees to take to our room, and it always seemed like a surprise for the (same) lady working in the morning that I ordered that. I was also missing a warm and happy good morning and it felt like the lady wasn't really happy being there.. I'm working in hospitality myself, hence my expectations might be higher but for me this is common sense and is to be expected with 4 stars. Service makes or breaks the experience.

Great central location

Very expensive, limited parking, very basic room with worn fixtures. The ‘studio’ had a kettle mini fridge and 2 cups. Nothing else!

Nothing. I am marked by the checkin process and the respect I DIDNT receive.

An apartment that size should include a full size refrigerator. Also there was an odour in the bathroom upon checkin. I paid in full prior to my arrival. Toni insisted they had not received full amount and made me pay again. Once I had WIFI and showed him my prior full payment, half of my payment was refunded. I am still waiting on the other half despite numerous emails. Hotel keeps coming up with excuses not to issue refund. Very poor service.
