Monte Belvedere Hotel by Shiadu

The hotel is so cute and the location is everything!!! It's in the heart of everything happening in lisbon. Tons of great bars, restaurants and shops close by. It's also just such a cute boutique hotel.

I wish the lack of access via uber was more visible. Only taxi's are allowed in the couple of blocks surrounding the hotel and it's very hilly. Not a huge issue but just good to know that ahead of time.

Great location close to everything including water front, tourist sites, restaurants and shops. We arrived fairly late due to delays in our flight and hungry. Despite the roof top bar closing shortly after, the lovely lady decided to fire up the oven and cook us some pizza. That was beyond what we expected. Other than that the receptionists were very approachable, friendly and willing to help any time. Great customer service overall. Great views over the water too. And the roof top bar is great too. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very close to lots of restaurants and bars and some customers will come back very late at night after having a great time but were very noisy. Other than that we can’t think of anything else.

The hotel itself is a little off the beaten path, but still close to the main attractions. It’s on a quiet street with a lovely roof deck that I spent several evenings on eating a quick dinner and watching the sunset with some good views of the river and bridge. The staff is lovely, and very friendly. I spent several nights, left on Wednesday up to Porto for the night and came back on Thursday evening to stay the rest of my week in Lisbon, and the staff actually remembered my name.

Breakfast may have had a few more tea flavor options, but that’s just personal preference. Otherwise, it was a pretty good spread! The shower floors are very slippery after rinsing your hair conditioner, so be mindful of that!

Strong unpleasant smell in the room and shower with little pressure and water was not super hot.
