Full of character. Excellent stop over close to motorway but with the charm of a village.
Drink and food quite expensive but everything is these days.

Stunning old building. Bedrooms beautiful and the bath was wide and deep which was great. There was classic FM playing as I arrived in my room which was a nice touch. The staff were lovely. Especially at breakfast. The ladies working in the breakfast room were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. I will certainly be returning very soon. Thank you

Period charm of authentic parts of the building. Comfortable beds and good room facilities. Pleasant, professional staff.
Pigeon nest and mess on room balcony, as it was on a previous stay.
Noise disturbance until the early hours from unexpected onsite events affecting all three of our booked rooms.
Cigarette smoke odour in rooms from people smoking in the courtyards under windows.
