Such a wonderful find in a charming hilltop village full of Art and Sculpture. The 3 rooms in the property means it feels like you have a private apartment to yourself. If there was such a thing as a drawback is that it would be even more lovely to have even just a tint little outdoor space for sitting and reading. i know that's available indoors and i am fairly sure space is already maximized within the tight confines of the village buildings - but would be lovely. Cathy is so friendly and helpful and a pleasure to meet. Also a full mini bar, fruit and welcome bottle of wine was provided. the fruit was even topped up along with water each day in the fridge - so much more than ever expected and a very welcome touch.

none really but if there was it would be a first world problem I know and nothing to do with the actual property - but i have never heard church bells go off so many times in my life from the church on the hill - honestly. Every 15 minutes !! and they don't stop - ever if you ask me.....................still , it's a story to tell. just bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to excessive church bell noise. Can't really fault much about the place really

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Barga's old town. The location is perfect for exploring the town, and our room was exceptionally comfortable, with a very comfortable bed, excellent tea and coffee facilities, and the quietest air conditioning we've ever experienced. The thoughtful touches made our stay extra special, including a bowl of fresh fruit, a bottle of red wine, complimentary water, fruit juices and biscuits. Above all, Cathy and Walter were outstanding hosts. They made us feel genuinely welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barga.
