Waterloo Cross, Devon by Marston's Inns

Friendly staff, decent room, good food choice. Parking was easy, check in/out was smooth. Loved having an 'outside' room, easy to get to/from main road.

I can't recall anything really negative, maybe decor was a little tired, but certainly not poor.

Having stayed many times before, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waterloo Cross. Sue and her stay were excellent.

Have no complaints.

Lovely big room and comfortable bed perfect for our stay.

Nothing

What we had for breakfast & evening meal was very nice and the bed was really comfy.

We didn’t get offered any of the continental items at breakfast despite it being included. But we were then actually charged extra for a piece of toast as the full breakfast didn’t come with any. I was aware it was a “little” dated from reviews hence the price. But the carpets are awful & most seating is stained or cushion covers are hanging off. I also didn’t get a bath despite requesting at booking & having it confirmed by the hotel. I was too tired from a long trip hence not mentioning.
