Sierra Motel and Apartments

The room was a studio room, good size, and comfortable. It was very clean and the owners were very obliging.

There was a shower and shower curtain over the bath. Being in our 70s we would have preferred a shower box, but the bath was a low bath so it was not really a problem.

Location and room exceeded our expectations

Nothing

Clean and tidy

Aircon wasn't working but they moved us to an upgraded room type which was perfect.

Beautifully clean, well appointed and comfortable.

Perfunctory greeting/welcome on check in at best. Despite paying more than $300 per night (the most expensive of a 26 day South Island trip, including Queenstown and Wanaka), the room was not serviced. When we raised this with the on site Manager there was no apology - just a "my bad, I forgot". We have stayed at this motel 3 or 4 times previously and suspect that it has changed ownership and/or management - and not for the better!! Will definitely look for other Omarama options for our next visit.
