MUSEUM HOTEL - Relais & Châteaux

We stayed at the Hotel Museum during the month of October to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our stay was absolutely exceptional. The guest relations manager Miss Arzu's genuine warmth and attentiveness made our experience fells deeply personalized and memorable. It is rare to encounter someone who elevates the hospitality experience to such a meaningful level.

On our arrival we reserved a charter transportation through the Hotel. The price that they charged us was double the price instead to the typical 15 to 30% commission markup onto the standard local car service rate.

An Exceptional Stay with Breathtaking Views Our stay at Museum Hotel Cappadocia was truly wonderful. The staff were exceptionally supportive, welcoming, and always ready to help with a lovely smile, making us feel special throughout our stay. The swimming pool is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the magical sight of hot air balloons floating across the sky. The outdoor seating areas by the pool and across the terraces are equally beautiful, providing the perfect setting to relax and enjoy Cappadocia’s unique scenery. Breakfast was another highlight of our experience. The hotel’s Farm to Table concept offers a lovely selection of hot and cold dishes, served directly at your table. The cheese platter was particularly delightful, and the overall breakfast experience felt fresh, personal, and special. The rooms feature a distinctive cave-inspired design that reflects Cappadocia’s unique character and heritage, creating an authentic and memorable atmosphere. Overall, Museum Hotel is a truly special place that combines outstanding hospitality, beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and a unique cave-style experience. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Cappadocia.

Addressing the humidity and resulting room odor would make the stay even more enjoyable.

Food, Room, Views.

Staff were attentive and pleasant, always willing to have a chat with you, and it has to be said, try and upsell tours etc. Views over the surrounding valley where the balloons take off most mornings. Breakfast was always high quality.

Noise from setting up breakfast in the morning at 6am, meaning even if you needed/wanted a lie in you were woken up. If it wasn't staff waking you up it was the resident peacocks. Also the hotel encouraged pigeons to the hotel, who used the swimming pool area as their shower and toileting facilities. The one occasion we had dinner on the patio, staff set light to a fire pit, which meant your clothes smelled of smoke until they could be washed. so we didn't eat at the hotel for the rest of our stay and can highly recommend local restaurant 'She Cooks'. Finally, if you have mobility restrictions this might not be the hotel for you as there are many awkward steps to navigate.
