Brenda and the team at Kisiwa house did an amazing job of looking after my wife and I. ( Simone & Graham ) nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and competent staff at Kisiwa House, we would love to come back again for a longer stay in Stone Town 🇹🇿🇹🇿

Lovely property in Stone Town with big rooms and rooftop terrace. Staff were especially friendly from start to finish - special shout out to Simon who looked after us during our stay.

Sadly there was some construction next to the property which was noisy from around 7AM and the wifi was slow at times.

They breakfast was great. The bread basket was filled with different types of fresh bread. My flight left early in the morning, the staff prepared me breakfast to take with.

I was completely disconnected. The WiFi and the network in my room was really bad

The location is great, central. The best thing was the breakfast actually… you have on their rooftop terrace, the food is nice and even though it’s an à la carte setup, they let you eat how much you desire

The room is tiny… really tiny… and for that reason I really don’t think this place is worth the money. It doesn’t come cheap, and at this price point you should be able to open your suitcase and still move around in the room. Nope… as soon as your suitcase is open anywhere you have to jump over it to move around. The pictures here really create a false impression of space… there isn’t any The staff was nice and friendly, but also very inflexible. We asked for a change in our booking which they could have easily accommodated, but no… you change you pay…
