Agro Guesthouse Korena

Beautiful guesthouse. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The dinner is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! We had a wonderful selection of Georgian foods in a beautiful setting, with warm, loving staff, and a feeling of camaraderie among the guests and staff. We had dinner with Ukrainian, French, and German guests. We're from the USA. We loved sharing our dinner with everyone and celebrating Georgian cuisine and culture. Thank you!!!!!

Absolutely nothing.

We had a really wonderful stay here. The food is simply incredible, we stayed for three nights and every dinner had a huge variety of dishes and it was different every night. We also had a surprise Georgian folk band play one evening with dancing. They helped arrange two days of tours for us with an English speaking driver as well. Overall it was a wonderful time and the owner is one of the warmest hosts you will ever meet.

Das Guesthouse liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadt Kutaissi, im Stadtteil Gelati. Wer noch eine Kleinigkeit z. b. Wasser, Bier etc. braucht, kann dies in einen kleinen Minimarket ca. 200m entfernt kaufen. Die Zimmer (inkl. Bett) und das Bad sind ok, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für Georgien allerdings grenzwertig hoch. Eine Klimanlage ist vorhanden und funktioniert. Das Abendessen (zubuchbar) ist umfangreich aber nicht günstig, der in der Werbung des Hauses als besonders lecker angepriesene Wein (er wurde uns nicht berechnet!), war leider geschmacklich weit davon entfernt was wir während der Reise in Georgien bereits in anderen Unterkünften angeboten bzw. in Geschäften gekauft haben. Das Frühstück (ebenfalls zubuchbar), entsprach dem üblichen georgischen Standard den wir aus anderen Unterkünften kannten.
