Hotel Ave del Paraíso

Estancia muy cómoda, personal muy atento, limpieza absoluta.

The location and private parking area is why I chose this place. Finding it wasn't difficult. The parking area wasn't too crowded. Check in was very quick. We were placed in a room next to the reception area so our room wasn't that quiet but that didn't really bother us. The room was clean, need was comfortable, and the shower had hot water. The breakfast was delicious. They have a menu and a table of other items. The grounds are beautiful for walking around. You can forget you're next to the university and the highway.

Check in was quick but we weren't told about the wifi password, breakfast time, or the gate code since we went out for a late dinner. I totally missed the piece of paper on the reception desk that had this information. There was only 1 towel in the bathroom but we were quickly provided another when I requested it.

El lugar es muy bonito. Muchas flores.

This older property had a lot of character! The owners had placed many interesting antiques, pictures, artifacts throughout the common areas. Restaurant and bar were great. Separate breakfast room with good choices. Ceiling fans and refrigerators in the rooms. Located adjacent to University of CR.

Shower was inoperable. Towels were thin and scratchy. Room was small with no comfortable chairs, no deck or patio, no view--and just not as clean as we would have liked. Bugs and ants on the walls and floor. Property was located just off the freeway in a very busy area.
