A well kept property and room had a comfortable bed and delicious breakfast with home-made bread. Locally made preserves for sale. Pub for food just 50 yds away. Just enough car parking at the back but the road outside was quite if needed. Hosts were very friendly.
I would have given full marks but my particular room didn't have a proper chair to sit in if I wanted to read, as there was no guest sitting room.

The owners were very kind - they allowed me to dry my wet hiking gear (clothing and boots) in their boiler room overnight. My room was quiet and the vegan breakfast was excellent and prompt, but do discuss quantities in advance because the portion sizes are very generous. The location is great for hiking and it is easy to find - there is free parking with the property and you are given a key so it is easy to come and go if you want to go for morning or evening walks. The mattress was comfortable.
The pillows felt far too soft for me, so my head felt unsupported - this made it difficult for me to get to sleep. I also felt that the duvet was too thick for the time of year. Together, this meant that my sleep was less restful than I had hoped.

Location
I arrived and the front door was locked. I had not had an email telling me how to get inside. I had to phone both the numbers on their sign board outside - both unanswered - and then I got an automated text message with entry details. No personal touch - sad.
