Aelia Home Suites

Beautiful modern apartment which was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Located in beautiful gardens with a great pool it was a short walk to the beach. Staff lovely and friendly. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking which we didn’t do as we drove to the nearest town less than 10 mins away.

A few mosquitos around.

Aelia is a great location if you want peace and quiet and pretty scenery. It's on a road surrounded by olive trees and the hotel has a lovely garden and pool. Our room had a large patio with a clothes line, and the room was clean and comfortable.

If you want beachside location, Aelia is not your best choice. But there is a pleasant beach just a short ways down the road.

Beautiful villa with great amenities. It has a shared swimming pool with a cafe/bar and plenty of sunlounges and a big table. Our room was a decent size and had a beautiful terrace with a big table where you could have all your meals. 10 mins from Marathopoli where there are plenty of restaurants, but the property also had food options. 5 min walk to Vromoneri beach. Owners were very easy to reach and even helped us book a few taxis - very accommodating, so thank you for a lovely stay.

The property is not too easy to access without a car (but this is around the Peloponese region in general) so I'd advice renting a car.

First of all, we called three times when we were arriving without receiving any answer. The owner should be available when new guests arrive. Upon our arrival, there was no welcoming at all. We found on the place by chance just a (very nice) maid, who unfortunately didn't speak a word of English, she gave us the keys but with very poor explanation and no information at all about the environment. By the way, the place is very far from everything, so you always need a car for anything (beach, restaurant, breakfast, supermarket etc.) The apartment we got was partly in a cellar, which doesn't correspond to what we had on our reservation (ground floor apartment). In fact, the main room, one minuscule bathroom and the minuscule kitchen are in a cellar, with a small window and no air change. A nightmare. On the second afternoon we had no hot water for the shower. The third bed is not a real bed, and not suitable for an adult. The owner knew very well they had done something wrong and they offered us a complimentary breakfast on the second day, but all in all the experience was very disappointing.
