Acacia Lake View Motel

The motel is pretty good.

The only criticism I have is my studio unit was right beside the bottom tread of the stairs to the above level. This meant not much privacy if you want the door open and of course a bit of noise.

Electric blanket on one side didn’t go but didn’t need it as place nice and warm

The location was excellent, room itself was a good size and fit for purpose, view was of the lake and "hole in one" business, the room was clean, but... (see didn't like), the owner (person at reception) was helpful when we had an issue but it didn't end up being fixed (see didn't like), bed was super comfy, bathroom was great with nice size shower.

Even though I commented that the room was clean - the pots and frypan should have been thrown out and replaced with better/new ones; scratched surface is not safe/healthy for use. The TV remote did not work (normally not an issue but with the bad weather, the only option was to watch TV). The owner/receptionist gave me another one - this worked for a couple of times, then didn't. I took that back - owner came over with another one - this worked at the time - but after a while it also stopped certain features, and frustratingly took a lot of presses to get volume and channels working - we could not be bothered going over and getting yet another broken one, so put up with the 3rd remote - very frustrating 2 night stay.
