Nice stroll along the waterfront to bars & restaurants. Room was large enough, we didnt eat in but it had everything there if you needed to. Good basic breakfast. We used the spa in the room once, took a while to fill so didnt have time to use it more. Plenty of towels etc. Parking at your door. The communal clothes line was good to get things dry as there was nowhere in the room to hang towels togs etc.
We found the double bed uncomfortable however we are spoiled at home. Only room for 3 chairs around the table so if we did eat in someone would have to be in an armchair. Very limited room in the twin room for bags etc.

Clean and comfortable, very handy location and nice staff. Enjoyed the breakfast and spa.

Every thing.
The score I submitted was meant for the motel in Auckland that we stayed in after leaving Taupo.

"Good location, modern enough, good beds had everything we needed and good for the price. Also enjoyed the kiwi style buffet breaky"
