We loved the views from Room 6 (right on Kirkgate) as well as the overal location in "James Herriot's Yorkshire."The room was beautiful, roomy, and comfortable. It was a wonderful experience to stay there.
We wished there had been laundry available on-site (since we stayed for several days on an even longer journey). Also, every room should have an iron and ironing board so we don't look wrinkled and worn!

Very clean, location very good for town centre and racecourse.
Very warm in the the room, only a fan ( wasn’t doing anything really!) has been very warm though so probably not always like this.

The location was great, just a cock stride from the town centre. Free parking is always a bonus. Our room (9) was very clean and spacious.
The price was quite steep at £187/night, when you consider they do not serve a breakfast. There were no hosts there, all communications were by text and email. The room was very hot. One of the two windows did not open and the other only opened a couple of inches. The bed was very low to the floor, making it quite difficult to get out of. The tea & coffee making facilities only had three sachets of milk and it was oatmeal milk which tasted absolutely disgusting in the single morning brew we could make.
