Sintra Marmoris Palace

staff outstanding, breakfast excellent and enjoyed wine tasting. Also the location.

I stayed in the adjacent house -- would have like to stay in the main.

A truly stunning hotel. Views were unbeatable. Incredible breakfast in beautiful setting. Gorgeous architecture and furnishings. Walking distance to town. Walked DOWN from Pena to Morris’s Castle to town back to hotel. Taxi up to Pena.

Absolutely nothing to fault.

A beautiful family mansion now operating as a small hotel with stunning original decor and excellent service. All the staff were great and knowledgeable about the area. The views over Sintra were incomparable, both during the day and at night when you can see the whole town and Moorish castle aglow. Breakfast was fantastic, the grounds were generous, the pool quiet and well-equipped, and the peacocks were a nice extra flavour! It was about a 15-minute walk from the centre which is totally fine, especially with all the tuk tuks about. The only reason the views are so good is because the hotel is set across the valley from the town, so it needs that space to be so special.

The place itself is very nice, clean, and beautiful. The room was very nice. The Wine and cheese afternoon break was a nice touch.

The rooms were too noisy, and so were many of the other guests. The tub did not work properly.
