The staff who welcomed and served us, Sam and Briony, we’re absolutely spot on. Very friendly and helpful. The food and drink were great.
The bed was a little uncomfortable and their was no shower gel or shampoo in the shower.

Location idea for beamish museum. Busy pub popular with locals. Food was ok.
Bed frame too large for room, kept banging legs off the frame. Mattress too soft. A private party meant the noise was horrendous , everything in the room rattled. Luckily it didn't go on past 11pm. Bathroom needs updating along with corridor and carpets. Stairs very shallow not suitable if you have any difficulty. While price was good in my opinioni t's no more than 2 star.
