Miravida Soho Hotel & Wine Bar

Lovely helpful and friendly reception staff. A small hotel with character and well placed for travelling around Buenos Aires and going to restaurants. Although central, it was lovely a quiet. The breakfast was tasty and the wine was lovely.

The hotel is in a great location, near shops and restaurants. It felt very safe. The staff were really friendly and spoke perfect English. The hotel and rooms are very cute and cozy. The breakfast was nice, but you do need to show up early.

Sometimes it didn’t feel very private. You could hear people on the landing and in the stairway from inside the room.

Faulty shower dispensers meant we didn’t have access to shower gel whilst staying the property. The blinds were also a faff, once you rolled them down, no one, including the staff or the maid could roll them back up which surprised us. The safe was playing up, batteries had gone so we had to have a key and carry it around with us from check in. The safe was extremely small as well. It’s a weird setup there. You have to be let out of the hotel as the only entrance is always locked, which is concerning as it’s a massive fire hazard. Yes there’s staff around 24 hours but having to ask to be let out or having to use the buzzer to be let in, bizarre. We were really looking forward to this stay but it was very expensive for what we got and with such a young and inexperienced staff team, you need to provided a better service for your customers.
