BruStar Sagrada Familia

The location is amazing! Markets, restaurants, pharmacies, and everything else you might need are just a short walk away. I wouldn’t recommend it for people who need complete silence to sleep, but personally, it wasn’t a problem for me. The apartment was tidy and clean, and the housekeeper came every day to ask if we needed anything or if anything else needed cleaning.

Hmm, having a kitchen is definitely a must, but one thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t even a small fridge in the room. I would definitely recommend investing in small fridges for the rooms that don’t have one. Especially during the hot summer months, I think having a fridge is essential. It’s not a huge investment but would help a lot!

Although a little tricky to find first time, the greeting at reception was very thorough and all the features and quirks clearly explained on arrival. The shower was excellent and there was a bath as well. My room overlooked the street, but was so quiet that this was not noticeable. No refrigerator, as I found this was common in Spain for budget hotels. The location, being so close to the Sagrada Familia was fantastic and it was a short walk to the Metro for all the other attractions. A mini supermarket and dining venues are within metres of the front door. I stayed four nights and really enjoyed my time there.

A small fridge is always a bonus, but room temp. beers in Spain was easy to accept!

The staff was friendly. The location is perfect. The room was very spacious with a little balcony.

Lack of shampoo and shower gel. The 2 mini size ones offered are enough for 1 shower each.

Staff was very helpful and provided clean sheets and towels when I asked as I stayed for a longer period of time. The location is perfect, close to Sagrada Familia and metro station Verdaguer, with nice coffeeshops around for breakfast.

The entrance of the floor looked pretty old and beaten up, it could do with a renovation. Same goes for the bathroom. This was in desperate need of renovation, although I could perfectly use the shower and other facilities. So it is functional. Be aware there is a school next to the building, which means you can hear the children during the morning. I didn't mind, it didn't bother me.
