Great location for our weekend break

The owner was very accommodating as we were travelling from a wedding. The room was very nicely presented and the bathroom was huge! Even a bath in there! The owner also accommodated a gluten free breakfast. I also liked the fish tank!

The only awkward bit was that at breakfast you had to sit at a table with other guests. Luckily, the people we sat next to were so lovely and kind and easy to chat to but it could have very easily not have been. As an autistic woman this was quite a difficult situation to be put into especially when there was a conservatory with another table in it. I would perhaps just ask the owner to maybe accommodate couples sitting in different locations instead of at the same table.

Breakfast freshly cooked - full English or alternatives available

The breakfast was what I expected. Parking was good and off the road. The views from the rear bedroom were very nice.

Although there was parking but it was a little tight, if you have a big SUV type car you may have a problem as you have to squeeze in between two buildings and there is limited space to turn around. There is also a very limited view as you pull out of the driveway on to the busy main road. Whilst the accommodation was clean it was a little dated and is in need of a refurbishment. There was quite thick dust on some of the surfaces. You also need to take care when negotiating the stairs from the bedrooms so if you have limited mobility you may find the stairs a little difficult. If you do book a room, try to get a rear facing room as the accommodation is situated on a very busy main road.
