Radisson Blu Hotel Istanbul Ottomare

The location, cleanliness, and staff performance are truly exceptional.

The pool bar is not operational, and there are no events scheduled at the hotel. The pool water was extremely cold.

Rooms were small

Comfortable beds and modern rooms. Access from the hotel to the city is relatively easy by taxi outside of rush hours. At other times taxi to the nearby train station approx 240 lira and 3 stops on Maramay train to city centre

The location is remote from the city and also the adjacent main road is noisy throughout the day and night. The sea view from the low floor, cheaper rooms, is over a working port which is having extensive building works carried out so noisy. The grounds are scruffy and not pleasant to sit in especially with the road noise. Loungers are old and not particularly comfortable, you will need to go and get one and position it yourself as there are no pool attendants on duty apart from a life guard. There was no bar service available around the pool and the pool bar was unattended during our stay. Prices for Drinks are extravagant even fo Radisson Bluwe with a small bottle of local beer setting you back approximately £7.20

Theres not much to like. It has a decent view

The room was cold & theres no heater. I feel it-is overpriced for what you get. The cleaning service for rooms isn’t the greatest. The staff are not very welcoming. Its a decent hotel but i suppose my expectations for the price was higher. Also i didn’t like that the staff member wanted to write his own positive review
