Hosts were great and caring! The breakfast was wonderful and the room was great! The morning hike in front of their property to see the sunrise was amazing!

An exceptional stay hosted by Janaka and Nisha, who went out of their way to make us feel at home with their incredible warmth and hospitality. The property is surrounded by lush nature, super close to Dambulla temple, and quiet. Special mention to the homemade breakfast—it was super tasty and very fulfilling! Would love to stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Girilena Resort! The property is run by such a cute and warm-hearted couple who make you feel at home instantly. *The absolute highlight was the breakfast — hands down the best we had during our whole Sri Lanka trip!* So fresh, delicious, and made with so much love. A must-try. the Dambulla Cave Temple is just a 10-minute walk away. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well maintained. They also have convenient car parking available. The owner is always available for help and gives excellent travel suggestions around Sigiriya & Dambulla. And don't miss the small hike right in front of the property! It offers a breathtaking sunrise/sunset view, and you can even see both Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala Rock from there. Great food, great people, great views. Couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended!
