The MACq 01 Hotel was amazing we had the top floor room overlooking the harbour with spectacular views. Such a great vibe going on in this area with so much food places to choose from. The bed was amazing and slept like a baby. The breakfast was outstanding.

MACQ01 Hotel was great value with great location, hotel facilities, staff were helpful and very polite with great customer service. Close to many restaurants, bars and ferry services.
Overall 10/10 definitely would recommend staying there as we would return.
Everything was what you would expect from a great hotel. 10/10 nothing needs to be changed.

I really liked the location, the service, and the unique theme of the hotel. I especially enjoyed the historical artifacts, fossils, and stories displayed throughout the property, which gave the hotel a lot of character and made the stay more interesting and memorable.
I didn’t like that the bathroom toilets did not have bidet hoses installed. Also, the bathroom had no door, which offered very little privacy. It would have been helpful if the hotel at least offered an optional curtain or some type of removable privacy screen upon request for guests who prefer more privacy.

Perfect location to enjoy views of the city and the waterfront. Spacious and comfortable rooms, with double-glazed windows
There’s a very noisy small bridge nearby. Council should restrict use after certain hours to improve peace and quiet.
