Hostel The Golden Stork

Super chill place & lots of nice people around. Staff are friendly and helpful, and it's a clean and comfortable hostel. There's a few events throughout the week that attract both travellers and locals, which is a great way to meet new people. Food and drinks are available to purchase at the bar, and free luggage storage is a bonus! Great budget accommodation & would recommend to anyone travelling through the Hague :)

Rooms are a little squishy & there aren't any windows in them. Not a huge deal as it's still clean & comfortable.

Property facade was under renovation. The reception was good and ample space was there to sit anytime.

The beds are like pods. There was no light in our pod which was not a good thing. The space in the combined room was so small and only one bag/person can open the baggage at one time, others had to wait for his turn. The light connection was combined and only single button was there in the room which was not accessible from the pod. The matress was not in good condition, it was clean but its spring were making trouble and pinching the back.

The staff and location are great!

The shower and restrooms were pretty tidy and clean. There is an outlet next to the bed you sleep in.

There is a wooden stand to put your phone and other belongings beside the bed. It’s small, I don’t mind that; but it had food, dust, and garbage on it when I arrived.. disgusting.
